Harewood Hill climb
Information about the British Automobile Racing Club's centre; includes events details, history and photos. For a number of years we had our eye on a farm at Harewood which looked to be ideal for a hill climb course and excitement mounted when we heard that this was coming on the market. We knew the price would be far above anything the Centre could afford, we had not the faintest idea what we would do with a farm between hill climbs but we were prepared to have a go.

Royal Armouries
The Royal Armouries is home to the United Kingdom’s national collection of arms and armour, including artillery. As a museum we have a duty of care for these objects, to keep them, study them and increase our knowledge of them, so that this can be passed to future generations along with the objects themselves. This knowledge can be shared with others who also collect arms and armour, we are actively involved with and support a number of groups committed to the study of the subject and its practical applications. As such we offer an enquiry service to the public and the commercial world alike and have often acted as consultants on a number of film and television projects.

Thackray Museum
The Museum has its origins in the Leeds based medical supply company Chas F Thackray Ltd. Founded in 1902, the company remained private until its sale in 1990 to a multinational medical company. Paul Thackray, a former director and major shareholder in the company, established a charitable trust fund with the aim of building a medical museum based upon the small collection of medical equipment, books and trade literature which had started as the company archive. Through purchase and donations this has now grown to include over 42,000 objects, 18,000 books including the largest collection of medical trade literature in the world.
